Strand is a rug built on yarn, not motif. Two undyed wool tones are carded and spun together before tufting, so the colour variation reads as natural striation rather than a printed pattern — closer to raw fleece than to a designed rug.
The pile is deep and loosely packed, left long enough to move underfoot and to hold its loft over years of use. It’s a rug for rooms that want warmth and texture without a pattern competing for attention — the material is the whole statement.
