Beam strips the desk lamp down to a single bent bar of blackened steel, holding an exposed bulb out at a right angle from a small marble foot. There’s no shade to speak of — the bulb itself, frosted rather than clear, is the design.
Small enough to move from desk to nightstand to console without a second thought, and light enough to lift with one hand. We designed it as the lamp you actually pick up and carry, not the one that stays wired in place.
